Brief
To increase revenue by using technology to simplify registration and expand access to fundraising on location and in the larger community of supporters.
Challenge
- Transition event from using spreadsheets at registration, paper raffle tickets and bid sheets for auction to using technology for these revenue generators.
- More difficult fundraising on site due to antiquated fundraising systems.
- There were limited people participating in auction because only those guests attending were able to bid finding a new team that would have the skill set needed to use technology.
Solution
- Automated registration, raffle, mulligans and auction.
- Promoted auction beyond the players by sending out the auction link to a robust email list.
Outcome
● There was a significant increase in money raised for raffle and auction.
